The “Marine Life” collection highlights “world oceans day,” giving reverence to the earth’s oceans and the millions of species, known & unknown, that inhabit it’s depths.

The oceans cover over 70% of the planet, and yet they are still the least explored. We do know that they are our life source, supporting humanity’s sustenance and that of every other organism on earth. The oceans are home to most of earth’s biodiversity. But even with all its benefits, the oceans need support. Sadly, we are taking more from the oceans than can be replenished, and we do need to protect and preserve the oceans and all they sustain.

We have selected a few favorite species of marine life to represent & celebrate our oceans:

3 ocean fun facts: we don’t even know how many species exist in the oceans. the oceans produce 50% or more of earth’s oxygen. the deepest part of the ocean is called the challenger deep, under the pacific ocean, approx. 36,000 ft. down.

Fragrance: black sea

All of our “Marine Life” candles are infused with our “black sea” fragrance. Salty oceanic accords combine with dark musk and sandalwood to create this balanced, airy scent. Geographically bridging modern-day europe and asia, the black sea was the end of the known world to ancient civilizations. Today, its shadowy waters are rumored to hide the lost city of atlantis — let your imagination run wild as hints of the oceans’ mystery and intrigue swirl and combine to inspire this scent’s seductive and worldly aroma.
